Cape Town City vs Kaizer Chiefs Preview: Kick-off time, TV channel, Team News. Three days after their victory over Richards Bay, Coach Arthur Zwane and his players had a tough away match against the struggling Citizens in the Western Cape.
When Kaizer Chiefs and bottom-placed Cape Town City meet on Tuesday at DHL Stadium, the former will be looking to avoid being the first team in this season’s Premier Soccer League competition to suffer a defeat at the hands of the latter.
The Chiefs have landed in Cape Town to take on a club that has not yet recorded a win in any of their five league matches.
The Citizens are going through a difficult stretch in which they have lost three games in a row and drawn two games in a row. They would like to begin their resurrection against the Soweto giants on a bigger platform.
But the Chiefs will be wary of City since it is a wounded lion, and they do not want to be the first victims of Eric Tinkler’s side, which is growing increasingly desperate.
Amakhosi will be looking to start a steady run of results after their 1-0 triumph against Richards Bay last Saturday. They will look to continue their winning streak.
Since the end of February and the beginning of March, when the Chiefs won consecutive games against Baroka FC and Orlando Pirates, the Chiefs have not been able to string together two victories in a row.[table id=2 /]

Squads & Team News
Mpho Makola, a senior midfielder for City, has been reinstated after serving a suspension.
The former star player for Orlando Pirates received a red card shortly after entering the game as a substitute while on the away against AmaZulu. He has served his suspension in the most recent two matches.
Yusuf Maart, a midfielder for the Chiefs, received a red card in the first half of their match against Richards Bay and will not be available for selection because of his suspension.
In the event that he is not available, Zwane would most likely start Cole Alexander or Phathutshedzo Nange in the center midfield position.
Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat are expected to continue playing in the same position as twin center-forwards because new acquisition Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has not yet been granted a work visa. Striker Ashely du Preez is still out with an injury, which is a problem for the Soweto giants.
Cape Town City vs Kaizer Chiefs Match Preview
It is fascinating to note that City will be playing their third consecutive league match at home on Tuesday, but they have been unable to capitalize on their home field advantage.
They suffered a defeat at the hands of Sundowns in their home stadium, and then they split the victory with Maritzburg United and Stellenbosch at the DHL Stadium.
The Chiefs have not yet been victorious when playing away from home, but they did pick up three points at their “home away from home” Moses Mabhida last weekend.
The last time Kaizer Chiefs traveled to City was in February, the two teams played to a scoreless draw. Two months later, Tinkler’s team prevailed at FNB by a score of 2-1.
